Undoubtedly the most prestigious game park in South Africa, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is renowned for having the best Big Five game viewing in the country, if not the world. Located on the southwestern corner of the Kruger National Park, there are no restricting fences, thus enabling the animals to roam freely just as nature intended. The 65 000 hectare Reserve offers a spectacular African safari experience.
Kirkmans Kamp, with its spectacular views of the unspoilt wilderness and the Sabi Sand River, is regarded as one of the best loved lodges in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. A well known historic camp, originally built in the early 1920s Kirkmans Kamp celebrates the atmosphere of an early South African lowveld homestead.
Classic safari accommodation: Guests step back in time upon entering the original homestead. Each of the 18 guest cottages has a private veranda with views of the Sabi Sand.
