DAY 1:  SAFARI IN THE EASTERN CAPE / ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK
Morning arrival in Port Elizabeth
Transfer to Addo Elephant National Park ( approx. 45 minute drive) -
Game drive at Addo Elephant National Park - South Africa's third largest national park and home to the Big Seven,
including some 400 elephants (the largest concentration of elephants in the country), rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards
as well as Southern Right whales and great white sharks in Addo's marine reserve.
Lunch at Addo
Transfer and check into one of the local game lodges. Click here for choice

DAY 2: SAFARI IN THE EASTERN CAPE / ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast and depart for full day at Addo Elephant Park. Choice of activities includes game drives, guided safari
walks/hikes, horseback ridding in the park, 4x4 drive, and bird watching. From June to December, a whale and
dolphin-watching cruise can also be incorporated to a visit to Addo as well as kayaking excursions in the bay.
Lunch at Addo
Return to game lodge in the late afternoon

DAY 3: ADDO ELEPHANT PARK
Breakfast at game lodge, checkout, and drive to Port Elizabeth (approximately 45-minute drive)
Full day city tour of Port Elizabeth. Established in 1799 as a military station around Fort Fredrick, the city has
preserved many of its original buildings and beautiful Victorian architecture, including Dokin Street Victorian Terraced
Houses, declared a national monument, Robin Hill Cottage, Opera House, Market Square, City Hall, and Castle Hill
Museum, which houses an antique collection. A host of cultural activities also offers an insight into the history of the
region, such as a visit to the cell in which Black Consciousness activist and freedom struggle martyr Steve Biko was
held before his death.

Transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for late afternoon flight to visitors? next destination
